As I hvent had a huge amount of time to photograph the stages of work in my clutches I will try to focus on the fabrics Im printing this week and probably the sewing and finished items from next week onwards.
Very briefly though a few snippets of the clutch fabrics which will start to feature in my shop next week - the first two patterns are muted soft tones of chalk white on beautiful heavy weight sandy dune coloured linen - perfect for the exotic orchid pattern.

The other pattern that Im currently sewing up is more a riot of pinks and oranges - funky cherry blossom - something I hope to post tommorrow.
Im actually very behind in the progress I had hoped to make with the range of patterns available for my clutches but as I get custom orders coming in every other day or so and I work alone at every level of what I do from cutting fabric from the bolt to the printing, constructing and sewing, I find that there arent enough hours in the day...but Im determined.

I also wanted to show you a glimpse of a recent acquisition - a huge vintage French wallpaper block - half a meter high no less....I will print this in deep moss green on ecru linen in a staggered repeat. But as with all the old blocks it will need a thorough clean first to remove the decades of built up dirt.
And on a final note Im thrilled to bits with a feature in the April edition of Craftseller magasine : Diary of a Craftseller.
The two page spread highlights a week in my life as a crafter and the pictures of my work looked amazing - I loved the spread and the pictures they used - thank you to the wonderful Beth Collins :)
