Lino printing....botanical prints and Foo dogs





Another late night lino printing, children are in bed and I have an order to complete...this time to create a range of patterns for contribution in a crafts book. The Foo dog in deep prussian blue works well so I started a repeat pattern for a yard of fabric, only got to the third lion and I ran out of ink.....so moved onto the botanical print and tried it in turquoise which looked beautiful so that will be recreated as a repeat on a larger piece of fabric too.

    I LOVE the botanical!!! Especially in that color! I am always drawn to botanicals. You have my wheels spinning again!! I did a blog post about my front living room and how I want to have botanicals on the wall behind the couch. Maybe I know where to get the botanicals now.....:) Now hopefully it won't take a year for us to paint the room. Ha!

    It works well doesnt it! Ive tried it it orange and blue before but this seems to be a winner:)
