The patterns on the fabric is beautiful! I know, I repeat myself in my comments for your work, but it is always soooo true! :)
Just as a question: Would you take orders for printed fabric itself? A lot of your fabrics would make so cool bold skirts! But I also know that it is really time consuming and takes a lot of time to prints... so I don't know if it would be worth the effort for you or if you wouldn't like your prints for anything else than your own designs (which would be completly understandable). :)
Hi Claire - I guess Ive never really thought about using my fabrics for other things - skirts would be cool actually! (Though it might be ambitious for me to try and squeeze even more printing into my average manic day!) (\__/) (='.'=) (")_(")
If ever you have a little bit more time and want to experiment, let me know! I am now on my way to south corea for two months and back in april in germany.
It is strage but the first thing which comes into my mind by seeing beautiful fabric is: A skirt! Something which is wearable and at the same time unusal and interesting :)
I don't think it would be worth the effort to make skirts to sell. Clothes are difficult because most people are used to the mass produced market... and somehow more hesisant to buy handmade clothes than handmade jewlery, accesories or decoration. I really don't know why.
But whenever you may have time, I would always love to buy fabric from you to make a skirt just for me! (and maybe one for my sister ^^)
