June sweet June

I thought it would be nice to have another set of small pods in a fresh zingy set of colours to reflect summer finally being here. I ve been wanting to finish these fuschia pink pods off for a while now but its proved very hard to actually get them done as other work  begins to pile up. Im halfway there though, these four patterns are now printed up so Im sure they will get done this week-end.

Perhaps next a batch of earthy olive green linen pods to replace the batch that Ive now discontinued in my shop.

I now have two new large vintage wallpaper blocks to add to my ornate indigo hamper selection. The Huuuuuge double peacock block and now this large wooden French paisley block.

Its originally one of a two piece set designed to print together. Sadly the two were split up at some point over the last few decades and will undoubtably never be put together again. This part of the set will still create a beautiful pattern alone despite the obvious connection points at top and bottom where the wood cut -out was intended to connect seamlessly with the second block.
The next step will be to print the two blocks and see the resulting lushness!
